Park Molenheide is a holiday park in Houthalen-Helchteren, in the Belgian province of Limburg, set in woodland and heath beside the Molenheide dune park. Every holiday home is detached, with its own terrace and private parking right next to the door. They range from simple woodland cabins to a villa with its own sauna, and the park's Hageland Cup page says there are more than 350 of them. Most of the facilities are under cover, about 20,000 m² in total. The Aquapolis water park has four pools, including a 25-metre pool, a subtropical pool and a toddler pool, plus four slides, with the water kept at 32°C. Next to it, Kids Valley is a 7,500 m² indoor and outdoor playground. There is also an 18-hole indoor mini golf course, The Mine, and a pirate-themed bowling alley with four lanes. Among the holiday homes is an artificial-grass football and basketball court. For food there is De Taverne, a family restaurant beside the pool, and Café Mangé, which serves pizza, pasta, fish and meat dishes. Tom's Herberg, next to the indoor playground, does snacks and takeaway, 't Pleintje at the bowling alley sells takeaway dishes, and the shop by reception has fresh bread, groceries and swimwear. Wi-Fi is free in the main buildings and in every holiday home except the Alfa and Penta cabins. Guests can use the walking trails in the adjoining dune park for free, and bikes can be hired from April to September. Please note: a €125 security deposit applies per accommodation.
